When Megan and Mark first got in touch with us at Victoriana Floral Artistry, they had a clear and beautifully romantic vision for their Drenagh Estate wedding. They wanted timeless elegance throughout the historic country house and gardens, combined with statement floral moments and personal touches.

The result? An opulent floral celebration at Drenagh Estate, filled with soft, fragrant blooms and luxurious styling details that perfectly complemented this grand Northern Irish wedding venue.

A Flower-Filled Ceremony in Drenagh Estate

Outside on the lawns of Drenagh Estate, we created a fully bespoke real flower wall—a breathtaking backdrop for Megan and Mark’s vows. The aisle was lined with romantic, abundant florals in soft, elegant tones, guiding guests’ eyes toward the couple and creating a truly immersive ceremony experience.

Megan’s Dream Bridal Look

Megan wore an exquisite gown by @rimearodaky, purchased from one of our all-time favourite bridal boutiques, @twgboutique. She carried a natural, hand-tied bridal bouquet featuring:

Sweetly scented roses
Delicate sweetpeas
Elegant orchids
Soft blush Menta roses
Eucalyptus foliage for a touch of texture

This bouquet perfectly complemented the luxurious but organic feel of the day.

The Grand Staircase & Statement Cake Moment

The iconic staircase at Drenagh Estate is always one of our favourite features to decorate. For Megan and Mark, we designed a floral staircase installation using scented white cottage garden favourites like:

Garden roses
Stocks
Delphiniums
Sweetpeas

This made the perfect backdrop for more intimate couple portraits and showcased their incredible wedding cake by @pastelbyrachel, finished with hand-dyed silk ribbons from @betty_williamson_ribbon.

The Reception: From Ceremony to Floral Fantasy

While guests enjoyed a drinks reception accompanied by @ulsterquartet, we quickly transformed the ceremony space into a luxury marquee reception. Every element of the flower wall was carefully dismantled and repurposed for the reception décor—a sustainable and thoughtful floral reuse approach.

The marquee tables were dressed with candlelight and florals, creating a romantic, immersive atmosphere for the evening feast. Gold cutlery by @orracollections and elegant table settings completed the look.

Guests enjoyed a night of celebration with entertainment from @thesensationband, @djyeoo, and extra touches like a photo booth and champagne tower from @northernlightseventhire.
